FAQ

How qualified is your staff in real world applications?

Pro Sports Floors sales staff are actually installers, consultants and manufacturing reps with combined flooring experience of over 80 years. We install our own products on military bases, custom manufacture floors for TV shows and perform emergency overnight installations out of state. Our staff uses and installs our products and get 1st hand feedback from customers. Our sales staff are considered some of the most knowledgeable in the business and we are very happy to help you select the proper floor for your project.

Is all rubber flooring the same?

Well - No. Is every car tire brand the same? No. There is a reason people pay a higher price for a Michelin Tire over a Firestone Tire right? There are many different grades of rubber flooring on the market. Quality in a rubber floor is partially determined by density, thickness tolerances, quality of rubber, urethane binders, odor mitigating agents, molding and other processes used in producing the rubber.

How can I be sure I'm getting the best value?

The Kodiak brand of flooring has an excellent reputation.

We also offer a price match guarantee on any competitors price. Many of our competitors sell an inferior quality product...however; provide us with the competitors quote and we'll beat it...on a comparable product.

Why should I buy a Kodiak Floor?

Kodiak is recognized throughout the USA as the best recycled flooring material available. The US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and more use Kodiak Flooring in gyms across America and Afghanistan. We offer very competitive pricing and Kodiak Flooring provides a 5 year wear warranty on all rubber flooring products. You will not be disappointed.

Why is the shipping charge so high on flooring?

Rubber flooring is VERY heavy. It ships via freight truck. For example, a small room of 300 sq. ft. can weigh up to 900 lbs depending on product selected. Despite our freight rates being very good....heavy material costs money to ship. Call us if a freight charge seems out of line, we will look for alternative freight lines and might have something closer in a similar product or color.

What's the best way to check order status?

Email us at info@rubberfloor.com with your name and sales order information. Due to the nature of freight shipments; calling for sales status will typically result in us having to check and call you back anyway. We can better serve you and respond quicker with tracking via email.

What's the best way to get help pricing my floor?

Our sales staff can assist you on the phone with a quote; however it's always best to put in a Request a Quote 1st prior to calling. Our staff monitors the Quotes via email 24 hours a day and it provides us with the best information to return an accurate quote. Calling for price quotes slows the process and doesn't give you an official quote in the system to look up when you are ready to purchase.

You can also purchase rubber flooring online with our rubber flooring calculators. They will automatically help you determine the price and amount of material you need...just plug in the size of your area, click "calculate" and add it to the cart to see shipping.

How long does it take to delivery my flooring?
  • Rubber Flooring is typically a 2 to 2½ week delivery; depending on actual product selected and your location.
  • Artificial Turf lead time is approximately 2 weeks; depending on product ordered.
  • Other retail items for baseball and sports typically delivery in 7-10 days.
Can I install rubber flooring over carpet?

You can, but it's not recommended. Rubber is non-pourous and may cause moisture to be trapped under it. This condensed moisture can mold your carpet; among other problems. Remove the carpet, and install the rubber directly on the concrete or wood base whenever possible.

Can I install the rubber flooring myself?

Small flooring installations are typically easily performed by a handy do-it-yourselfer...however larger areas where glue is required might require some professional help to get it done properly.

Will you install my flooring in my home?

Typically home installations, particularly out of state are not economically feasible for the customer. We suggest a local flooring installer perform the work. Have him call us for installation advice if they need it.

Is your flooring made in the USA?

Yes, all flooring is manufactured in the United States, and all raw materials are from United States manufacturers.
